Anyone familiar with Mokpo? How is it - tiny village-like place that should be avoided or decent town to be?

I've got a job offer in Mokpo as well,
I've been scouring Dave's site, hoping to find honest opinions about the area.
Any info veterans? |

Yeah, there have been many threads about Mokpo, most with the same answers and the same questions.
If you do choose to go to Mokpo, I'd recommend getting on Facebook and joining the Mokpo Facebook group. It's the best way to stay in touch and get information. |

I liked Mokpo. good place for fishing and swimming if you can get over to
the islands. |
