you read it, I got absolutely nothing. Barely finished high school, took five and half and years, and then a GED test. Never taught english before, prob wouldn't pass the tesol course either.

seriously what can i do in Korea.

My prospects? I'm white male, native english speaker, isn't that good enough to land a job in Korea?

seriously though, how easy is it to land jobs doing voice recordings, or commercials. my friend told me it aint that hard.

what's your point? I'm sure no one is going to care if i do a few recordings or pose in a few ads without a visa. why is everyone so damn negative and anal on this forum?

I don't think being mean was behind bringing up that it is illegal. There is another thread on here right now about some people that were caught doing illegal work and were taken off to jail. Bad situation. I would hate to see anyone in a situation like that here. If you do decide to do it, just be careful. I am not sure if it was mentioned above but there are other countries in Asia that don't have the same strict requirements that would provide you with a lot of the same opportunities work wise without the illegal worry.

Hey.. It's illegal, but I personally know two guys who came here on tourist visas, worked illegal privates for years, married, got an F2 visa and now, they (I am pretty sure) make more money than me with my degree in English.

At the end of the day, I don't really care as I am pretty happy with my income and I don't care what othere people do.

If you wan't to risk it, then go ahead.

If you're not worried about ending up in jail, paying a fine that will probably exceed your earnings and then getting deported, I say come on over and enjoy the party! And if anyone puts a hate on you, it's only because they had to spend four years at college, get thousands of dollars into dept and then have to prove it to Korean immigration with transcripts, add an apostilled and notarised criminal check, followed by an AIDS test when they get here, only to realize that their visa is owned by their boss, so they can't even change jobs.
