I know it's been discussed time and again. That's not the reason I posted. I find it so amusing that "housewives" are considered a demographic. I have to just laugh...I feel like I'm in the 1960s. I'm also surprised that farmers have actually gotten caught growing poppies. With all the farmland here squeezed into every nook and cranny of available space, who are the people that are driving around looking for illegal plants? |

Forty-seven kilograms of drugs were seized being smuggled into Korea, most of which were methamphetamine and marijuana. Until 2007, over 95 percent of methamphetamine seized here was smuggled from China, but last year, about half was from China and the rest was from various countries, such as Turkey, South Africa and Malaysia.

Makes sense now... Arriving in Incheon from my vacation in HK a couple of weeks ago, when I passed through customs, the lady looked at the form I handed, saw my Nationality and asked me "South Africa" when I replied that I was, she sent me straight over to get my bags searched. Of the 10 or so people getting their bags searched, it goes without saying that none were Korean, I was the only whitie with the rest of the numbers being of Middle Eastern or SE Asian descent....Atleast 90% of the flight was Korean/Chinese. Racial profiling? |

looking at those stats I don't understand why everyone blames Canadian's for doing all the drugs here and being stoner's. I think its just people who are jealous that Canadian pot is allegedly the best. |

Gotta love those statistics.
More foreigners in the country = more foreigners caught using drugs.
More paranoia about foreigners using drugs = more foreigners investigated for drug use = more foreigners caught using drugs.
It would have been nice if, instead of just saying there were X caught last year and Y caught this year, they had given a proper percentage, based on the ratio between total number of foreigners in the country to foreigners busted for drugs. But I guess that would be too much to hope for.
Also, this is pretty much classic:

``Most drugs were smuggled in from abroad. We'll strengthen joint investigations with overseas customs and law enforcement authorities to root out drug crimes,'' the prosecutor said. |
Duh. |

If the posts on Daves are any indication, 95% of NETs are potheads. |

Every one blames Canadians for CPN. |
