Stefanuto reminded:

B-i-n-g-o, bruddah. But, then, even if she hadn't been scorned, she'd still have that attitude reserved only for WIMMIN.

Rufus, Rufus:

Whether you think she acted like a termagent or not isn't the main issue--it's that her reaction showed arrogance and poor judgment. She didn't even stop to consider the translating scenario. She was being, in other words, the Ugly American that the Left loved to rail against Bush about. Only Bush never responded to queries so tactlessly.

You do the source check; I didn't make this up. Better yet, read something besides the DailyCos, cuz.

No, you do the source check, where did you read it!!?

Are you not sourcing it because it doesn't exist?

It was a perfectly reasonable repsonse. It may have looked a little bitchy, but what she said was fine, she's Secretary of State for the USA!!

I'm also interested to find out where you got this information. Seriously I just spent a significant amount of time searching for it and... nothing.

In all fairness, the link I provided in my last post in this thread does claim the student in question spoke with her after the event, though it claims they "reached an understanding."

But I haven't found anything saying she "brushed him off".

Well I agree with that. In fact, it says the exact opposite.

"If Africa, if Congo is going to advance, women have to play a more significant role" - excellent point from the State Department Assistant Secretary. Clinton's a good role model - 'F*** the husband; I make the decisions!' which a woman should do in third world countries.

Until you prove your point MitM I'll just have to presume you're following FOX tactics..... i.e. making things up.

Well Fox, what can I say, you're looking at the issue reasonably naked of the lenses of sexism.

Do you consider that to be a good or a bad thing?

I'm pro-reason and anti-sexism, thanks for asking.

I only asked because I've been accused of paying too little mind to issues like sexism and racism before. Razz

I'm bumping this so MitM can provide source for his assertion. Presumably it'll be easy to find, so.....
