It's not clear whether they want this to be a series or just a one-off episode. It could be . . . interesting, but I think it will end up just ruffling feathers.

I've never watch chatting with beauties, but from what I've read on here, it's mainly airheads bagging on other foreigners, especially foreign men, right? Please correct me if I'm wrong, I honestly don't know.

So..... what do you think the guy version would be about. They can't really sit there and talk trash about themselves?

Do you have to be fluent in Korean?

BTW I wonder who the target audience is for a male version of this show. I mean, the one with the foreign women is obviously most watched by men, especially older ones (I've seen it happen at my old gym- the show comes on and all the ajeoshis stop their workout to crowd around the TV).

So who'd be watching "Chat with Foreign Hunks" or whatever they'd call it?

There have been a few male misuda episodes already. Theyre usually around holidays. A few of the guys have really poor Korean skills...
But I guess its interesting to get a male perspective...like umm how they felt going to the communal bath. That sort of stuff.

Haha, yeah, what would the men talk about? "Oh I like how in Korea I can hold my guy friends' hands"

I think that was just one episode actually. Mind you, I don't speak Korean and I've only seen a few clips on Youtube. I do know the spoke about the prejudices they faced when coming to Korea as well.

Some are serious airheads, others are pretty intelligent. Depends on the gal as usual.

The usually talk about their lives in Korean, cultural differences, pop culture, dramas and all that. Some of them perform, others sometimes rag on some of the other girls, blah-blah-blah.

I guess the guys version would be kinda the same... only more... manly? Would shirts come off? Would there be arm wrestling? Brick breaking? Explosions?

Hell I dunno. I always thought Misuda was targetted towards women, to be honest (like most talk shows). I figure it would basically be the same.

I asked a friend about it and she said: "they don't like the Korean men"

I thought that was pretty funny....

As if women, anywhere, couldn't resist God's chosen people...

They tried this already, they had a few shows as an "event" on "Talking with Beauties". My wife watched it and said the guys only talked about Korean girls and so Koreans didn't like the show.

They would need to find guys who talked only about how great Korea was but never talked about dating.
