Just passing on the info to my fellow teachers...

There's gonna be a launch party for Tomatillo Grill's Yeoksam Location(seoul) on Saturday, Aug 22 from 12-8. Live music including a Mariachi Band, cheap food and cheap drinks.

The price point is going to be 4,000won/item for the following:
*2 Pork Carnitas Tacos
*4 Chicken Taquitos
*Mini Chili Cheese Nachos
*Vegetarian Quesadilla
*All Mexican Beer
*Margaritas

Plus all the food in the store (regular menu) will be available for 20% off.

And for those of you that experienced the Cinco de Mayo party...there's gonna be at least 4 lines for food and drinks outside in addition to those available inside the store.

Gonna be fun. Hope to see you out. If you're on facebook, the event link is here:

Can't be bothered to travel so far with the current Tomatilla across from Jonggak station. Excellent establishment.

I do hope their planning is better than the Cinco de Mayo party they had and they plan for more people.

On a separate not, Comfort Zone in Hyehwa has burritos and quesadillas for 4,000 KRW from 10-5 every day, and very big quesadillas after 5 for 12,000 every night.

OP, do you have DIRECTIONS? Just giving a subway station is not enough. Not all of us use facebook.

Gonna be at the Gangnam Finance Center AT Yeoksam Station (Line #2). Take exit #2 (i'm pretty sure)--if not, just look for the sign that points you to the Gangnam Finance Center...you should pop out in the B2 level of the building...You'll see the store by the escalators, the party will be held on the street level (level 2 from the inside of building)

Curse you Tomatillo! I was staying right next to the Yeoksam station two weeks ago for my vacation and I saw your boarded up restaurant everytime I went into the subway station. It was just sitting there, mocking me. Instead it was over to Sinchon for On the Border. Now I sit here drinking Cafri and eating Stadium Nachos with my last cup of imported Nacho cheese and crying like a little girl.

And now to hear that there was one at Jonggak station! Oh cruel world. *shudder*
