I went with other because there is no Middle-East option.
I want to go surfing in Socotra, Yemen. |

Yeah, sorry. My bad...
I'd dig scuba diving in the Red Sea off Jeddah any day of the week... |

FYI, Americans often visit Cuba via Canada. The Cubans supposedly give you a piece of paper to put in your passport upon arrival so that American authorities won't know that you've been there. |

I voted other for Papua New Guinea. It would be awesome to explore into the interior of PNG to meet the tribes such as the Insect Tribe, one I seen in a documentary. Many of these people know English from Christian missionaries teaching them, but refused to be converted to Christianity. Missionaries came and told them to burn their spirit houses and such so they drove them off.
Now, some rich foreign gold diggers are threatening the tribes existence with gold mining operations which will pollute the rivers tribes depend on for their livelyhood.
To explore Papua New Guinea, you do need some serious money for guides and guards.
Indonesia is also extremely facinating. Need some serious time and money to go further afield from Bali. |

I'll be living in PNG in 4 months time. It's not that bad a place, it gets hard done by the media. Rich expats in the Highlands can get robbed/killed, but the lone traveler isn't likely to encounter many problems, just don't travel or go out at night time in the Highlands.
I'll be on the coast mainly, with some work to be done in Enga Province near Mt Wilhelm.
In answer to the question, I second Yemen. I've always wanted to go there since reading "Motoring with Mohammed".
Also, I see there are four options for the North American continent, but no Australia, like, it's only a continent and gets put in "other". |

No one has mentioned South America. The Amazon? Andes? Rio? Carnival? I'm pretty sure SA should get an option here.
I'm gonna vote for Australia/New Zealand/Palau/Tasmania for some scuba diving |
