Rob, I see now. The number for the station, not stop, is 747.

Where else do the trains stop? I highly doubt they would stop anywhere other than the station itself.

It's good to know English my friend http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Train_stop

I have NEVER seen anyone refer to a train station in Boston, London, China, Japan, or here in Korea as a "stop". Well, until now Laughing

Can we now get past the semantics and move on?

hahaha, do you really, really think that robkiss was actually asking you to walk through the subway tunnels to find the train stops, let alone a stop switch with the markings of #747? besides, i'm sure in seoul, the signalling system is all onboard. it's good to have common sense my friend.

sorry robkiss, but i'm starting to find the humor in it all.

kiwispanker,

I didn't know, so I asked. Simple as that. Of course, train stop by definition would have been stupid (that's why I asked). However, I have had people meet me on the platforms because we were both going the same or opposite directions. I have even stayed inside the ticket gates so I didn't have to pay twice for transportation, which is what would happen if you met outside the exits.

The humor is in seeing how people persist to say something and then when it's not understood attack the person asking instead of taking it as a genuine inquiry. Some people reply with kindness, others with insults.

If Robkiss can get over it and wants to sell the speakers to me, I am interested and have the cash. If it's become a hangup because I asked him where we could meet, then ok, I'll get other speakers. Doesn't matter to me.

Oh, by the way, nice imagination on what you think I was thinking Laughing It reminds me of a movie I saw a couple days ago, Knowing, which stars Nicholas Cage. Decent movie, worth watching, but it won't win an Emmy. Maybe your story would Laughing

This is the last I will say on the subject of lifeinkorea:

Would you buy a car without test driving it? Would you buy a set of speakers without listening to them? You already stated that they don't look like they sound that great, so why would I meet you on the platform to sell them to you? I would assume you want to listen to them which requires you to leave the subway station......YES, Cheolsan station which is numbered 747.

I will not sell the speakers to you. End of that story. You have had my phone number and could have called me anytime for clarification, yet you insisted on coming here to have some sort of fun.

Have a nice time harassing someone else. I will leave the speakers for the next tenant in my apartment before selling them to you.

Good day all.

No, if you are saying that because I mentioned meeting inside the gates, I did that because I was giving a guitar stand to someone. They didn't need to plug anything in. Another case was when I gave someone some plastic containers. Again, she didn't need to test anything. Why are you trying to find fault with everything I say?

No, I would gladly test your speakers if you give me time and day. Seems like you don't want to sell them or you are making such a big issue of this that your ego is getting the better of you.

Again, I cited examples. In the case of the platform it was at Geumjeong. I was going on line one, the other person was on line 4. I actually went to the ticket gates, but it was him who was on the platform. Now you are persecuting someone else for meeting on a platform. Want to end this stupid line of attack on your part?

Yes, now you say Cheolsan station, LOL, before you said stop. I am glad you changed your wording. No confusion what you mean, right?

I only typed asking for clarification which you are now using in your most recent reply. Because I didn't call you for it and get it over the phone, that means this potential buyer made a booboo? Funny. I guess if people are new to Korea and they have no phone, they can't buy from you because you only do deals on the phone after posting in text on Dave's. Remember this rule folks if you want to buy from Robkiss.

I wasn't harrassing anyone. You have taken this too seriously and have blown things way out of proportion. They are just speakers man. You don't have to put up such a front because someone on Dave's didn't know what you meant when you typed "stop 747". You did clarify yourself in this recent post, and I am glad to be able to understand you now. At least something positive came out of this. Have fun with the speakers and chip on your shoulder.

Hello I just moved about 20 minutes from you. I am looking for some basics. Trash cans - broom some plates spoons - fork yadda yadda. The flotsom and jetsom of a home. Do you have things of that nature to sell. You do not need to list them, but if you do... I can come through this weekend or next to make some deals.

Blink I have a few of those types of things, not too many and would basically just give them to you. There is also a really cool dollar store right across the street from my apt to get items like that. Since I can't pm on the boards yet, just shoot me an email at [email protected] and we can set something up.
