|

I've been reading over the info on F3 visas here on the board, and it seems that the holder of this visa can't work at all. If my husband enters on an F3, can he later change it to an E7 or something like that? He-s Peruvian, speaks Spanish, can read English, but not really speak it and is a computer engineer. Are there any chances that he could find part time work and change his visa after arriving? |

Yes, he can change the visa later PROVIDING he qualifies. It may or may not require him leaving the country depending on the job and what rules apply specificially to Peruvian.
If he gets caught working on an E-3, it could lead to him being fined and deported, so be careful. I don't know if you were planning on him working on an E-3 (it seems you were before you realized the law, but sorry if I misunderstood). I think you were asking about having a baby on another thread, right? I don't think your husband is going to have very many options if he can't speak Korean or English. All things to consider before making your final decision. Good luck! |

Well, if push comes to shove and he can-t get a job, he-ll just be staying home, doing a distance degree and taking care of the kids. I wouldn-t risk having him work on an F3 visa, too risky, |
