In regard to sheets: a top sheet (single or queen size) can be used for LOTS of things! Besides using it to cover you on the hot/steamy Korean nights, it can be used as a tablecloth, groundcover (for a picnic) or even as a curtain! Bottom sheets...yeah, they rarely fit well, and you don't know what size bed you'll be getting! But a top sheet? I wouldn't leave home without one!

does any one know if there is fluoride in the water there? My dentist suggested I bring some with me, but I'd rather not waste luggage space on it if it's not essential. thoughts?

From what I've heard, custom tailored clothes are cheap in Korea. I was wondering if you (or someone else), could give an example of typical tailor prices for pants and shirts over there?

If they do have fluoride they dont have much of it..

My Close Up toothpaste, bought in Korea, says in English that it has floride, mouthwash, vitamin and microwhitener. It's manufactured by Unilever, a company based in the UK.

HomePlus carries the blue and the green flavors...wish they had red!

(Sheesh...I can't believe I'm complaining about this! Very Happy Back in the day, you couldn't get good toothpaste here!)

I am traveling to Busan next week and have been told that my existing mobile phone will not work in Korea. I have been approched by the arrival store who have offered to set me up with a contract phone for when I arrive. How difficult is it to set up a phone and how much should I expect to pay for the deposit and contract?
