im craving some good ole american style hot wings. can anyone recommend a place that serves them nice and really hot (spicy)? anywhere from seoul to daejeon is good. i would really love to take my korean/non american friends to a wing place.

for reference, back in america the hottest wings that the chains offered:hooters, buffalo wild wings, wing stop, had to offer were "eh" at best. had to go to mom n pop wing stores for the good stuff.

The ones at Rocky Mountain Tavern in Itaewon are good, cheap, and COVERED in Frank's Hot Sauce. There are lots of flavors. They're 800 won each except on Tuesdays when they're only 500 won each. I guess there's an RMT in Hongdae too but I'm not sure where it is. Check their website.

Actually only 300 won each on Tuesdays. At least that is what I paid this week.

Looking at that menu now it clearly says 500 but I am like 89% sure that it said 300 on the menu at the restaurant. Maybe I was a little drunk. Either way a good deal.

American style anything here is going to be the opposite of what you expect. Try Von's Chicken. Oven roasted. So good.

Are you from Korea, though? We're talking about eating buffalo wings IN KOREA.

Anyway RMT's buffalo wings are the real deal, they're not super expensive, and they have good beer too. The place is Canadian-owned and operated.

yeah wtf.

RMT is a decent place. Tuesday was my first time there. I wanted to try some of their other food but it felt sacrilegious to not get wings on WING NIGHT. Any other food recommendations?

Or Yongsan, behind iPark Mall. You can see it from the bridge walkway.

Homeplus has 3 kinds of wings in the frozen section, one of which is spicy. Around the 11,000 won mark, big bag (I've thrown the bag away so can't tell you the weight, but I'm guessing 30 or so wings)
