I recently called to find out how much was in my pension plan. Although I worked for 18 months at schools that deducted pension money, I was told I have a big fat zero in my pension. One of these jobs ended 5 years ago and the other 3 years ago and I have no records from either- as I had no idea at the time about getting it back.
Any ideas as to what recourse I have now. There should be about 4 million in there. |

Did you ask the pension office what you should do?
If you have no proof then it's hard, but maybe they can force your former employers to pay.
This is why everyone should ask for and keep their pay slips! |

I will head to the pension office tomorrow and maybe even the labour lawyer in gangnam. I sure wish I had kept those stubs now and looked to see if the pension money was being paid- but didn't know I'd get the money back then. |

I've never checked to confirm if my school is actually paying pension like they say they are.
What number did you call?
What info did you have to give them (ARC number, school address etc)? |

Good luck. That happened to me and pension told me it was up to the school to pay it. Kinda frustrating. If you have the time, then you can go to labor board. I chalked it up to learning experience so it wont happen again. |

I called '1355" and needed my ARC card.
I was a little bummed there was no money, but not so surprised. I will contact a labour lawyer (30K for 30 mins) and see what my chances are without any pay stubs, etc... |
