I think that the Confucian hierarchy in the language is something I won't ever understand. It's too foreign for me, coming from a Western country where personal and even business relationships are becoming more informal all the time.

But they don't expect a whitey to know the ins and outs of the honorific jargon do they? They probably do.... Confused
