I've seen it here before, but not having any luck with the search function. Anyway, it's always relevant and always nice to get an updated list.
The question: Non-ajumma style D cup bras? Where?
Specifically, 34D?
I'm tired of having my family ship them. It's not exactly an area of my life I appreciate my grandmother being an expert in. Any suggestions in Myeong-dong especially appreciated, as I am planning a trip there soon anyway. What about the Gap there? Has anyone checked out the intimates section?
Thanks in advance. |

I saw an underwear shop opposite Dunkin Donuts & The Face Shop in Hongdae (just outside the station, behind KFC) advertising D cup bras.
I also got some at Dongdaemun years ago; or try gmarket.
However, I'm sure one of the male posters on here will tell me Im wrong.
I have bought bras here over the years but these days I just stock up overseas. |

I bought one at a random shop in Gwangju city. I was walking through the little market area there and the adjumma found me.
"Big sizee?"
I didn't need it that bad, and it's kinda ugly, but it fits really nice and I figured that if I found a bra my size in Gwangju city, I should buy it.
My other source was a friend on base who wears the same size as me
...and by the way, your grandmother is proud of those "gifts" that she gave you...as in "our family is proud of the (family name) mammaries!" So stop worrying about that little boundary, there are so many better secrets to be keeping from the older generation. |

had a friend with a korean 'f' cup....would guess around dd in usa.
she bought all her clothes on-line. ask a co-worker to show you a few popular korean sites selling clothes and you shouldn't have a problem finding what you need....but you may have to do trial and error to get the right fit. |

There's a really good shop called Lora in Hongdae. It's not the one a poster mentioned above, cause it's not at that KFC exit. Can't remember what the number is now. They got a website lora.co.kr.
I went there a few months ago to get maternity bras and cause I wasn't too sure about my size (pregnancy boobs!), the girl measured me and showed me what they had in my size. I fit on 3 or 4 and bought 2. was well impressed with them.
Anyhow, they have some really nice bras, and loads of big sizes. |

There were Korean shops around, but given that I prefer bras that don't look as though they could hold up a bridge, I always shopped online. They have gorgeous things at www.figleaves.com, and both they and victoria's secret will ship to korea, no problem |

Thank you, ladies.
I was hoping I wouldn't have to go to Itaewon. Hope I can find something in Hongdae. Much easier to get to, much more pleasant environment.
Here's a stupid question for you Peppermint: When you order online, do you pay out of your Korean bank account? I haven't worked out how to manage this with international websites yet.... But figleaves is lovely and if I could get stuff from there, I'd be very happy indeed. |

I used a secured Visa that I had with KEB. In other words, I put a million won into a special bank account tied to the visa, and had a million won spending limit. |

i have concerns buying bras online, as i can go through a store and try on a bunch of '34 F' (my size) and have one (if the stars come into alignment properly) fit, if i'm lucky. I have a wierd body type, and need to try them on at the store.
I'm reading enough about D cups here, but what about F cups ? |

My Kim's Club has an underwear boutique. The lady measured me!!! They have nice plain ones and sports bras. They have real big sizes. Priced at around 50K to 80K for the cheaper ones, I guess. |
