Vista gets a ridiculously bad rap. It got a lot of bad PR over its launch when people running 7 year old hardware and 10 year old programs ran into difficulties. Well, gee, really?

For people who didn't buy into the negative PR, it's a rock-solid OS and more secure than XP. I'm not really sure what else a person would really look for.

I have a dual core 2 ghz laptop with 4 GBs of memory and I have problems with Vista.

It's a POS operating system and it's horrible reputation is well-deserved.

Well that is certainly a very detailed and technical analysis of vista's flaws, but despite the overwhelming number of examples you've cited, I remain unconvinced by your argument.
