Not to drag this up from the past...

But if I bring my NA DS to Korea, stick a plug converter on the end of my NA plug to slot it into a Korean socket, does the NA power cord automatically re-adjust the voltage? Or will I have to buy myself a transformer?

(Basically the reverse of what the original thread was about, lol... NA DS to Korea using an NA power cord)

Check to see what voltage the adapter is rated at. If it says a range like 110-220v, it will be fine. I'm not home right now so i can't check for sure, but it should be written on there somewhere.

Doh... The NA adapters are only rated for 110v...

Second question then.... Are Korean adapters compatable with NA DS's?
(IE - Could I buy a power cord in Korea for a DS and use it with my NA model?)

Yes, thats actually what I did. I have a korean one and a US one, they both work fine and won't damage your DS
