My brother made quite a list, and other ones exist on the internet. What would you consider some of the worst songs ever? Maybe there are too many awful ones, especially if you hate a certain genre, like rap or whatever.

Here's one list: http://hubpages.com/hub/100-Worst-Songs-of-All-Time

I agree with many, but not all there.

Scientifically, it's Phil Collinss song, Sussudio . Or his other song, Easy Lover.

The man should have been musically castrated in about 1985.

I loved this song when I was around eight and thought Robin Hood: Prince of thieves was the best movie ever made, but it's pretty painful to listen to now.

The music channels The Bay (Canadian Dept store) plays. It's pure torture and made me go a bit mental near the end of my riveting career as a Ladies Sportswear associate.

Such hits as...

"I can't go for that" by Hall and Oats http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bwarCieO1dc

"Loving You" by Minnie Riperton http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kE0pwJ5PMDg

Anything by anyone written after the mid-19th century. Excepting, of course, the incomparable Leonard Cohen.

That list is pretty much the soundtrack to every gay bar I've ever set foot in.

Sweet Home Alabama??? I agree with most of that list, and SHA IS overplayed, but that don't make it a bad song.

Some of them get a pass because of clique/inside things...Final Countdown- 2004 Detroit Pistons. Wannabe- Middle School life. Ghostbusters- being a kid.

Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue is so obnoxious that its alright. Working in Lib, anti-Country music Ann Arbor I would play this when I had had enough. It is a terrible song though.

We Built This City is great because everytime it came on and we were taking "a ride" we'd all burst out laughing and mocking that song would occupy our mindz for the next 10 minutes.

The B-52s - "Love Shack"

Paula Cole - "Where Have all the Cowboys Gone"

Dave Matthews - That song that goes "Got more cars than a beach's got sand"

And probably dumbest rock song chorus . . . "Robot Man" by The Scorpions

"Ew, ew-ew I'm the robot man. Ew, ew-ew and I'm a loser." 0:35-0:42

"Ew" is right.

That list isn't that bad. "Play That Funky Music" is the worst?

The worst song I remember hearing was, "Let's Put the X in Sex" by Kiss.
"Let's put the x in sex. Love is like a muscle and you make me wanna flex"

Doesn't get worse than that.

Although I also thought "Step inside, walk this way. You and me babe, hey hey!" was a close second.

Maybe I'm thinking more of worst lyrics than worst songs.

No! Leave Phill alone you!

I like a nice bit of Sussudio or even ''Turn it on' or 'Anything she Does.'

A nice bit of 'In the glow of the Night'

Worst songs? - Anything by boy bands or teenage divas like Britney, Kylie et al.... also almost all Korean music I've ever heard. Yuk.

Oh no, the worst has to be at public school when they have that week of banging their drums all day, the same bloody cachophonic boring rythm repeated all over again all day long sometimes accompanied with the chants of 'Dae han minguk!' bom bom ba bom bom 'Dae han minguk' bom bom ba bom bom....

Christ I nearly went mad during that week last year....
