Growing up in Europe, you had to be a serious 'wangta' if you didn't have a kick-butt Playmobile set... I always dreamed of the pirate ship, but no dice Sad Had to make due with the cheesy construction crew set...

and later, the tabletop soccer, Subbuteo

Still have a Subbuteo in Korea(!), if anyone's interested in a game.

Couldn't get the pic to hold but anyone remember the Evil Knievel motorbike that you wound up with that little hand held rotor device and then you hit a button and sent him roaring down the hallway? Very Happy

Loved that toy. Making him jump my unsuspecting cat after secretly placing a ramp in front of him as he slept. LOL

I had that toy, too, man, thanks for bringing that back up. I had totally forgotten about that.

I still love action figures - good thing I can't get decent ones here as I'd be spending all my money on the things.

Toys I had as a kid - Star Wars, Thundercats, Masters Of The Universe (the new ones look freaking amazing), Robotech, G.I. Joe, Transformers, Secret Wars, LEGO, Hot Wheels, Micromachines, TMNT, Bravestarr (sp?) and a bunch of others.

Legos were awesome, but they were so freaking expensive. I only had a few small sets because my mother wasn't willing to shell out hundreds of dollars for toys.
