I know people have asked this before, just checking to see if any new information has popped up.
Does anyone know of a good orthodontist?
How much do they usually run in Seoul? |

I had braces coming to Korea a few years ago, and to continue my treatment I went to Yonsei Smile (they always had a lot of ads everywhere) and they were great. They spoke English (got their DDS from american universities), were professional, kind, and also the place had a very clean look to it. I went to the one in Bundang (near Sunae station on the yellow line) but i believe there are tons of branches. |

My wife got some form of plastic retainers that are like football mouthpieces that she wore all day/night for about 9 months. Straightened her teeth up pretty well... not as perfect as braces, but I was amazed how fast they worked. |

Id ask around with your co-teachers. They might know someone that fix you at a bargain. I got my teeth cleaned, whitened, braced for a fraction of the price because the dentist was my co-teachers acquantance. Maybe at the very least they know someone that speaks Engrishee. |

I have braces done by an orthodontist in Apgujeong. There are quite a few Ivy League-educated orthodontists there who speak fluent English. But the prices are more or less equivalent to back home (I paid 6M won). But I'm a surgical case so it might be more. |

I simply got my front six teeth crowned to straighten them. It was something like 2.5 million for all of it. Its way faster than braces, and cheaper as well. Let me know if you want info on the office - its in Bucheon. |

I'm also hoping to have a bunch of dental work done including braces, and eventually, crowns/veneers. That's one of the first things I'm going to look into when I get over there.
My question is, do people know if there are good English-speaking Orthodontists and other dental specialists around places like say, Busan? As opposed to just in Seoul? |

Busan, I'll recommend Ye Dental Clinic. Seomyeon Station, first exit on your right as you walk from the Line 1 part of the station into the underground shopping mall. I wish I knew the exact exit #, as they are really good. I had 22 months of treatment and a great surgeon referral from my Ye orthodontist. VERY, VERY happy with my teeth. |
