It's good to know they have coin counters like back home. I wonder if they have bank bags as well, never seen those nifty things round here...

I'm due to take mine in again. They chuck your coins in the machine and hand you the the total in 10,000 notes. Last time I had enough to pay a December gas bill.

You may have to sort the coins into their respective denominations.

I believe in the change of losing 40 pounds. It sure feels good being a lightweight again. I just lost all my excess weight last Thursday at the Shinhan on the front ground level of the international relations building near Jamsil station by the Lotte Gold Castle place. Not bad for an instant 40 pound weight loss plan. All free of charge of course even though I'm not a member. Wink I thought I could file for pension refund there so I brought some 155,000 won of coins with me to kill 2 birds with one stone. It took about 20 minutes for the machine to do it's job. The NPS regional claims office is just 2 blocks down the street across from a Homeplus in a building with a Hana bank on it's left front side. What's with this bank on the front left side thing I keep seeing? Convenient I must say.

You would do good if you separate your change by denomination. There are still a lot of branches out there that don't have change separator machines and must run each coin denomination separately. I discovered this when I went to my local KEB and the security guard was gracious enough to help me separate my change for 30 minutes.
