The ewoks aren't dead;
such thoughts are unwise.
Here are the facts:
they were resting their eyes.
They spring to their feet,
one climbs up a vine.
From lofty perch, he shouts,
"Transform and combine!"
They all move together,
a giant, furred mass.
Ewok Voltron is here
to kick robot ass.
The robots protest,
"How can this be?
It's ridiculous nonsense,
like you'd see on TV."
The Ewoks are unaffected,
logic's not a defense.
Ewoks, like Republicans,
are immune to common sense.
Ewok Voltron's eyes
shrink into a squint.
Green lasers burst forth,
the color of mint.
The robot army is seared
in a lovely light show.
That it would turn out this way
how could anyone know? |

Yes, but this is 2009. The real question is: will people be comfortable with this in 2050? Time will tell.

I don't remember that day. It ended a long time before I existed.

In the future, Achilles-equivalents will be ultra-expensive, state of the art fighting robots pilotted by children who are skilled at video games. |

And using the phone
