Okay, I can buy a KOSPI 200 fund through KEB, which has a certain comfort level because they have a good reputation within the English speaking community, but their management fee for the fund is 1.1% -- high for an index fund. For cmparison, the Kodex 200, essentially the same fund run by Samsung, purchased directly is .35% or less than a third of what the same fund costs through KEB. I can open up a brokerage account, but I am having trouble finding one with English service. Like most foreigners, I want the ability to move the money out of the country electronically without asking permission from the bank, etc..at
What financial institution should I be looking at that has
--Brokerage accounts where I can hold ETF's
--Good English speaking reps
--Electronic funds tranfer to foreign accounts
I know Woori has some funds available but I don't think it is a brokerage and their fund information is not available online in English.
Thanks. |
