Hi,

I'm transferring some money back to the UK on Friday, from my KEB account here to my HSBC account back home.

What exactly do I need to take to the bank with me? Obviously passport, bank account number, sort code, address of bank...anything else?

Thanks in advance,

Rich Smile

SWIFT code for your bank (also known as BIC - Bank Identifier Code or ISO-9362)

Select the Currency payments (non-Sterling currencies) section here: http://www.offshore.hsbc.com/1/2/international/bank-accounts/money-transfers

That might be what you meant by "sort code."

That is all though.

When I opened up an online remittance account with KEB to transfer money to my Nationwide account I think I needed to provide an IBAN and BIC number.

Thanks for your replies. I think I'm going to head down to the Itaewon branch tomorrow morning as it's more foreigner-friendly apparently...am I right in thinking it's Exit 1 of Itaewon station? Thanks again...
