I am looking for the Korean version of the classifieds..

I want to find a large website/newspaper where Koreans sell their used instruments to potential Koreans. Do such sites exist?
There aren't enough people on Dave's and Craigslist who sell instruments.

What I mean by instruments: Accordions, Violins, Piano's, etc etc

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

You must not be in Korea, cause that's not how Koreans think. There is one of everything, no variety at most stores. You're lucky if you can find a comb in the shape of a regular comb back home.

I don't know myself where you could get your information, but if you could go to a music hagwon, or a university or college where they teach music, then there they might be able to to tell where to look.

I don't think there is a service like that in Korea. You will see posts here and there on various sites, but that is as close as it will be.

not true... they do exist, obviously all in korean though... i was totally shocked to see them... tons of gear... i will get the web addresses from the friend who showed me them... he owns a cafe in hongdae that i go to... he wrote them down for me but i washed the clothes they were in... i will stop by his place this weekend and get them again...

you will need someone to work out the translation, unless of course, your korean is up to scratch.

mnshome.com and mule.co.kr both have used marketplaces, I think.

Also there's the used electronics jumble of shops near Sindang Station. Go out exit 1 or 2, sorry can't remember which, turn down a side street and go a few blocks. Most of it's old stereo systems and the like, but a few places sell guitars and mixing boards. I picked up a pretty solid Samick bass there for 90k a couple of years ago. I wouldn't sell it for twice that.
