You could just buy a new one from gmarket or auction.co.kr. Ask a Korean coworker to help you. They deliver and you can get one for 100,000 won or less, including delivery. I'm not sure how, but some will even take the old one away for you. Can't help with the # of a repair man though. Good luck.

Look on the fridge... usually on the front or right side, there should be a mostly white and yellow sticker. It should have a 080 phone number.. it should also have your model number. Give that information, along with your home address and someone from AC (after care) from the original manufacturer will come to your house. (If you find the sticker but can't figure out the info, take a photo of the sticker and show it to a Korean friend). The charge should be about 10,000 plus the cost of parts.

If is is going to cost more than 50,000 to fix AND you plan on being here more than a year, I would suggest you buy a new one. My Mom MADE me buy a new fridge here a couple of years ago and I am VERY happy I did.

Good luck.
