Why do English teachers always seem to be the same guy? Some dude who is either fresh out of college, or wishes he was, with a very liberal political leaning, who is atheist or agnostic, but definitely has faith in conspiracy theories about evil shadow governments. Cares about global warming a great deal, despite not doing anything about it. Culturally relativistic, drinks a lot, and cares deeply for people he's never met and will never know.

I mean, just look at this forum. Don't you all get tired of yourselves after a while?

It is what it is. Of course people who would take on a gig like this would tend toward the liberal side of the spectrum. It's only natural.

If you don't like it, move out to Alabama or North Dakota or something and hang out with the fat people wearing confederate flag shirts and cowboy hats. Sucka.

my comments are limited to users on Dave's and everyone seems to be bitter and full of complaints. How goes it?

Either religious conservatives have roots down where they live, or they believe they're already in the best place a person can be. Have you ever seen Des Moines, Iowa?

Social liberals want to get out and see stuff, and hope it opens their minds a little more. Dave's is evidence of how well it turns out for a few folks.

Now, how about you? Can you tell us what kind of person you are? ARe you the opposite? Are yuh? huh, huh? Are yuh? Wooowww. Someone who's been out in the real world and loves it---who needed that college BS, right? Yeah, I'm with you. A conservative...Wow. I'm so hard right now. Dang! Christian. Oh, my Dog. I messed myself. I'm ready to go out and sh*t on the world!

You're right. Everyone on here is the same. That's why there are no arguments whatsoever.

I've been out of college for 8 years. I am Christian. I am not much for conspiracy theories. I am mostly right wing. I barely drink. I am definitely not cultural relativistic.

You got me on the global warming one.

You're welcome.

I am the same!

Except that I am more conservative than most recent college grads... or at least ones that went to college in Oregon. You got me on the conspiracy part; the government is conspiring secretly to... provide a working government that keeps our country running. Hopefully, they'll become better conspirators Very Happy.

I'm pretty much the same as Ilsanman, but with two exceptions: I've been out of college for most of the last three decades (well, undergrad, anyway--I'm working on my doctorate right now) and I'm more of a centrist politically (although slightly on the right side of the fence).

I'm Christian and laugh at conspiracy theories, although I admit to the college and the drinking and the liberal bit... but I think we can all agree we run into this type a lot on these forums. As Seinfeld would say, not like it's a bad thing...

I definitely fall into that category.
