I've got the 100mb service and speedtest is showing it close to that, but my bittorrent speeds are useless. I'm guessing it's something to do with port forwarding.
Is anyone else having trouble? Does anyone know some settings to improve it. |

SK has to be one of the worst services I've used in the past. It's actually Hanaro. SK bought them out few years ago. It's just a new packaging with same crappy service. |

Wow, wish I would have known that before I booked them. Luckily I got them on a no contract basis so I can cancel if it does turn out to be rubbish.
At the moment though my speed test is giving off about 90mb so I don't think this is actually a connection problem.
Ach, just realised, I had bloody windows firewall on, even though I've turned it off in the past. turning that off seems to have solved the problem as the port is showing as open.
what problems did you have with SK? |

I have SK in Chuncheon and my torrent speeds are lightning fast. Not trying to be condescending, but are you downloading something with a low number of seeders? Maybe the problem is just availability. |

It is possible it's just the leechers. I'll monitor it over the next few days. A lot of the sites I use require a ratio, which is bad news.
I don't think they are throttling it because I had 10 mbs download speed on a torrent. the problem is the upload is way too low. I think it may just be a torrent without enough high bandwidth leechers.
The forwarding port is fine, so I'll see how it goes. |

I usually test by snatching a high volume but relatively small file from EZTV. 10,000 leechers usually maxes out my up speed. |
