| my laptop is right next to my router, wired in I'm getting 50mbs, wired into the wall (no router) about 90mbs and wireless its all over the shop, just now it was 5mbs. |

it says on connection condition 'under communication' and there are options to release and rewrite.
Any idea whats best to do? |

| Updating the firmware will help with slow speeds. I know DD-WRT supports some buffalo routers, just start googling. There are also other firmwares out there, named many things but most have "wrt" in their name. |
