Been suffering from severe lower-back pain when sitting and lying and after 2 months told my wife I couldn't ignore it anymore. So she searches online and find this place in Cheonho-dong (Seoul), and off we go.

Walk in and see diplomas and degrees from schools in Iowa and Illinois all over his walls. Few minutes later get in there and get to talking with (my first time visit to chiropractic clinic ever), turns out he is a registered chiropractor in the state of Illinois and along with attending a chiropractic college in Iowa is an MD in Korea as well (I think he told me all this to calm me).

Anyway his English is flawless and he was very jovial (his favorite phrase = 'good man!') and accommodating.

I had some myofascial pain (according to him) and along with the twist and crack routine he did some trigger point needle therapy thing too (think 6 inch needles inserted at different points around the lumbar area). I have to see him again Saturday, but am for all intents and purposes cured. I left thinking 'why didn't anyone tell me about this chiropractic thing before!?'

Unfortunately, I can't remember his name, or the name of the clinic as I was in too much pain going there, but just had to recommend him in case others are looking for a decent English-speaking chiropractor and don't want to traipse all the way to Itaewon for it.

Will post his name, phone number, and clinic name + directions as soon as I go back Saturday.

Agreed. I used to visit a Chiropractor for years. My wife went to her first this month while in Canada and the pain difference after 3 visits was noticable.

Money well spent imho.

If you have details, I'd love to have them as well.
