Anybody know the easiest way to get a new, working phone without having a bank account?

Just moved to Seoul from the south, and need a replacement a.s.a.p.

Any ideas?
Can I just go to a phone ka-gae and pay more for a 'pay-as-you-go' style one?

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
