sometimes I use websites like starfall.com or barryfunenglish.com in class, but the computer in my classroom is less than reliable. Is there a way to save those kinds of websites so I can use them offline? What's the easiest way to do it?

If you use firefox you can get a bunch of plugins which will alllow you to save some things like videos etc. I am not sure which one you use for saving flash but if you google it, it should come up.

Seoulsteve,

It is easy as pie and I always tell teachers this is the way to go and have designed EFL Classroom to be friendly in this matter. Go to any of the links to flash on the site . For example HERE

Right click and "save as" any link you want. It will save and you can sometimes play in Gom or even better, use the EOLSoft player

You can capture flash files and I recommend infine capture flash -- but I don't recommend messing with Barry's English. I'm sure he'll scream. Such is the way education works these days. Pay or get lost , for the most part.

Does anyone know how to make games using flash ? Even simple games. I use Barry's but I want something else for the kids to play.
