You like those things? Are you being serious?
I bought one a few years ago for 20$ at a thrift store. It was fun to mess around on. It was fun to do jumps onto curbs with it and stuff like that. But for transportation and going all over town it sucked. |

| So no-one's really mentioned the safety aspect. I'd be worried about riding any bike in a city in Korea, let alone one that you can't stop for 30 meters. Or is that not the case? |

Yo man, my hipster friend sold me a fresh unicycle. He gave me some spandex jeans and a trucker hat to match too. |

Exactly. Fixies have no freakin breaks......
Fixies are for doing tricks and messing around. They suck for real riding.
I used to ride a mountain bike around Pusan and I had to slam on the brakes as hard as I could many times to avoid disaster. |

Naw, they're great. Much easier to just hop on and hop off and take up less space than a bike. For shorter distances they're more efficient than a bike. Arguably a better workout as well.
For longer distances not so much, but after five years of hardcore push-scootering, I could go for hours and keep up with most cyclists no problem. |

Yea, I'm Pusan and I get cut up enough walking around the place, a mountain bike is one level, a fixie just seems like suicide (unless you never wanna hit anywhere near 25+mph). |
