| With American football about to kick off soon does anyone know where you can catch the games? Hopefully the New York Football Giants games? Also anyone know where to catch college games? Thanks for your help. |

| if you have someone back home, like parents, with cable i would suggest getting them to hook up a sling box. its this thing you can buy and hook up to a cable box and your router back home and you can watch from anywhere in the world. you can access ondemand and dvr recordings as well. i've used it whenever i've lived overseas and get to see all my redskins games, the wizards, vcu basketball and so on. while it'sd be fun to find a bar, this allows you to see your games |

Wow, two stupid statements in one sentence. He said "Also anyone know where to catch college games?" which means he was previously talking about NFL (and the New York Football Giants) then also inquired about college games. Also, if you've never heard of them referred to as the New York Football Giants then you must never watch Chris Berman or SportsCenter |

If you are in or near Seoul, Rocky Mountain Tavern re-airs some games. They'll have some marque college match-ups in Sundays, as well as big game or two from the NFL on Mondays. They also do MNF on Tuesday evenings.
Their site's NFL schedule isn't updated right now, but I bet it will be soon.

That's pretty much how Chris Berman of Sportscenter always refers to them. |

All 'real' football fans have heard the Giants referred to as the 'New York Football Giants.' This nickname is because from 18851957 there was a New York Giants baseball team (later the San Francisco Giants) so 'football' was added to distinguish between the football and baseball teams.
To the OP - you can watch a lot of football games live with Justin TV:
http://www.justin.tv/
quality is hit and miss and someone may or may not be showing your particular game.
As far as watching the games 'live' you have to remember the time difference. A 1pm EST game will be around 2am Seoul time (I think.) |

All of these are great options, but if you are a crazed superfan, and MUST watch games live:
1. Download Sopcast (http://www.sopcast.com/download/)
2. Go to Myp2p (http://www.myp2p.eu/index.php?part=sports).
Again, connection/quality vary depending on how popular the game is, but I used it when I was out of market 2 seasons ago, and it had my (less popular NFL) team almost every week. |

+1 for Slingbox, and with Slingmobile you can watch it over a windows mobile phone with wifi or 3G. |

This is a follow up question to the post that is two spots above this one: Are those two options mentioned free?
Please don't beat me up too badly, but I have to see every one of my Browns' games live...even if I"m up in the middle of the night!
I'm not in Korea yet, but I hope to be there prior to week four.
I appreciate any insight into those mobile options or any other solutions!
GO BROWNS!!! |
