OK to my fellow weigugin chicen lovers, you gotta give this chicken a try. This is bar non the best grilled chicken I've ever had and let me tell you, I LOOVE MY CHICKEN.
I eat chicken at least two to three times a week.
Now it's a little pricey, about 15,000 for a plate but the stuff is awesome. And it tastes just as good two to three days later.
One of those bad boys will be a meal for me for a couple of days.
Any other recommendations out there? I haven't found anything that comes close to HOOLALA. |

HOT SUN kills any other chicken I have ever tried. Even KFC, though KFC is nothing special. |

I love this place too. I always order the sweet spicy and drink
So-mak mixing soju and beer. I've had many great times eating this.
I'm also a big fan of the truck chicken too. |

We just had a HotSun open up down the road, I quite fancy trying it out. I really enjoy WoW chicken for takeout, it's dirt cheap (8,000won for saucy chicken) and tastes great, but I'm a fan of thick tangy and sickly sauces. The nicest chicken I've had thus far has been in Garten Bier, not a big portion but it is off the bone fried chicken. I quite like Chicken dipping (something like that) when I fancy variety. I've tried vons and while it's good [Mod Edit] the price puts me off. |

HOT SUN is quite expensive and it has no sauce. I think it's cooked in some kind of pressure cooker, it's not greasy at all. |

Why doesn't this forum just block the "s" word via it's filter instead of manually editing posts and then sending a TOS violation private message? It's incredibly tedious.
Back on topic, I'm gonna try it tonight. The other half doesn't appreciate my chicken cravings so I'll have to see if any of the lads feel like gorging on some poulet. |

About to call up the HOT SUN hot line myself. Nene is very good, too. Kind of crispy batter style.
On a different note. Did any one else take time to adjust to the chicken here? It seemed like the first 4-6 times I ate fried chicken, I got chronically ill, but havn't had any issues in over a year now. |

Let's be specific folks. I'm talking about non-fried chicken. Hoolalah has fried as well but haven't tried it since I'm trying to go healthier and their grilled tastes better than any fried I've ever had.
So of those of you who have tried Hot Sun and Hola's, grilled, which is better?
I'm putting my money on Hola grilled but I'm going to be searching for this so called Hot Sun place. |

Yes, it is incredibly tedious to have to continuously blow the whistle at ESL teachers and other professionals because they cannot make a post without using inappropriate language.
The rulebook is not going to change because people cannot follow it.

hoolala is far, FAR superior to any other chain chicken i've had in korea. that's saying a lot, because I was a huge fan of kyochon and bbq. hot sun is pretty damn good, but it's no hoolala. |

Yes because "good s" isn't an extremely popular phrase that get's typed automatically.
I bit the bullet and had HOTSUN last night, ordered the half and half grilled chicken. Spicy and plain. I'd eat the plain side again but the sauce wasn't that great. Personally i'm into the fried shiz but it was a nice change and i'm sure slightly healthier. |

Hoolala? Pfft. They're not that great. Especially if you order it. Really small. The hot bbq is inedible, really. The only other flavored one, terriaki (soy sauce) is sub par. Nothing to write home about.
BHC is much better. The fried chicken is huuuge.
I've been to small chicken hofs that way outweight Hoolala.
Get out there more, whippersnapper. |

Nene chicken is good- the red spicey one that I call yumyum chicken as I speak 0 korean I just say my buliding name and yum yum and that red chicken comes. The nene chicken song when the phone is ringing is funny as well. I swear I will lose 20 pounds when I leave Korea getting away from that addictive red chicken. My bank account won't miss the 15000 hit everytime I get a craving for nene chicken nenenenen chicken nene chicken nenenenenenen....... |
