Just after some advice...
Went to the bank, set a secret password, was given the little plastic card with numbers on and told that I could go home and start straight away.
I downloaded INISAFE but it keeps asking me for the security certificate password. Firstly my computer cannot find the certificate and the password that I set at the bank doesn't appear to be the correct one.
So.Confused.
If anybody has the foggiest what I'm on about I'd love your help! |

Korean banking has got to be the silliest system...
You have to download a "certificate" (and this process is not easy) from the Shinhan website and let the "certificate" be registered to your account. That is what the password you set at the bank is for.
Before finishing the certificate, you will be asked to set a new password (this is to access your account)
Now if you are able to download and implement the certificate, it may also be used for any other Korean bank account you may have (different companies, too) |

Thanks for the advice!
I finally figured it all out - I just had to enter in about 6 different passwords to register the certificate to my account (whew!)
Now that it is done it seems pretty straightforward.
Cheers again |
