I really want to take a job a Gwacheon English-town but would just like someone to confirm they are legit. I can't seem to find any information from people who have worked there before. They say they are goverment run... If a school is goverment run does that mean they will treat you with respect and not cheat you out fo your money?

I just saw the contract for the 2009-2010.

They are a brand new school ( not sure if they are considered a francise or branch school).
There is kindergarden, elem and middle school class ( so yes, it's like a hagwon).

Not sure about contrautual payment obligations, , but supposdly there is a manifest inability clause in the terms of dismissal section Surprised ( lol).

To my recolaction, the only that is the goverment run one is the Incheon English Villiage.

mmmmm Sad

Well, We do know that there is a vicous will of intention ( maifest inability) in the probable reason for dismisal.
Since no one can no anyones cogntive intention,, it only leaves the school's probable bad intention.

If you want to get really down to it,we only have certain known facts ( hours, age groups) that similier to a hagwon ( the rest is specualtion from my previous law study).

Your best would be to call the ministry of justice and ask them for sure.

This is going on the sheer specualtion that EVERYONE has that contratual clause of dismissal.
Facts: we do know that there is a vicous will of intention in at least one contract ( maifest inability.

Since no one can no anyones cogntive intention,, it only leaves the school's probable bad intention to dimiss if the teacher deems to have an "inability" ( what type of inabilty and again how would they know about what defins an inabilty??? ( it is subjective in context)..

If you want to get really down to it,we only have certain known facts: ( outside of research)hours, age groups that deem similtary to a hagwon ( not a governement run program).

Are you interviewing for the Gwacheon Valedictorian Village hagwon or another English Village?

I was told the accommodation for the Valedictorian was shared 3 bedroom new apartments in Gwacheon for single people. What were you told? Is this the same village you are asking about?

DO NOT teach at this school! It is awful they still owe us money. Almost 20 teachers quit in less than it being opened for 3 months!

What update do you need? Apparently twenty teachers left after not getting paid. So do the smart thing and keep looking.
