Alright. There was a bit of sexual tension between us, but it ended up as a peck on the cheek before she took off for Korea from Toronto, Ontario. She's got a boyfriend now.

Anyway, she's really stressed, and it takes about 3 hours by bus for her to get to Seoul. She's coming this Saturday.

She's stressed about studying for huge tests, and failing them, and she's also teaching part-time. I just wanna show her a good time.

I was thinking of taking her out onto the Han in a row or paddle boat. I've seen them out there. How possible is it for us to rent one, and how much?

Don't know the cost, but just head out, night time is probably better.
They rent them down by Ttukseom resort, but I've seen them in many places.

Out of curiosity, do you still have that super-hot-awesome-in-bed-but-psychotic girlfriend? I have to admit I'm a little voyeuristic toward the whole situation.

We're kinda on-and-off, and I'm seeing a new girl, so I'd say it's over. Haven't talked in about a week. I can't believe people remember that. I should look up my old posts.

ANYWAY, let's keep on topic here. Anyone with suggestions about what to do with a girl whom I want to show a good day to, please lend me some insight.

bro,
if she's stressed out about exams and teaching, AND she has a bf, the last thing she wants is a slow, boring paddle boat ride. she needs to exercise those demons. i also second the motion for shooting guns. make it into a contest. the lowest score buys drinks. move on to another place and activities that will elicit emotions, not reflection. keep her having fun and happy she took a 3 hour bus ride to the big, bad, exciting city. you'll get more than a peck. good luck

I guess that those of us who took the time to read that mammoth thread wanted to know how it turned out!

Good luck though. You do seem to have a penchant for drama. Maybe your life would be easier if you lusted after a girl without a boyfriend. Obviously this is easier said than done. I should probably attempt to contribute something valuable to this thread now. How about a bike ride along the Han, where she can work off her stress, then the row boat trip? That might give you the best of both worlds.

PPCG4, take it from me, when a Korean says, "I'm stressed about studying for huge tests." It probably means, "I need your help with English." Also, consider this: How would you feel if you had a girlfriend, and one of her guy friends was out there on a boat, rowing her around? According to your posts, you don't have a hard time finding women, so just move on.

A day at the Dragon Hill Spa! Nothing like soaking in hot baths to relieve the tormented soul.

Come on man...we all know the best stress relief of all times! While stress can have a hand in low libido, it can also be a great stress reliever, which is why jokes about uptight bosses needing a good roll in the hay are always good for at least one knowing chuckle.

I am definitely in the friend zone, but there's still this awkward sexual tension between us. Her boyfriend is a big guy, training to be a cop, so I'm not about to step on his toes. Plus I respect her and their relationship.

She is an English teacher at the moment, so she doesn't really need any English help. She was actually a student of mine back in Canada, and I've been helping her with English here and there, no problem.

I like the bike riding idea, but I sweat bullets. I think Lotte world is a great friggin idea. I've never been there. I wonder about the cost though... end of the month and I'm broke as they come.

And yeah, that thread was a huge trip. I don't even want to look at it. I'm glad to have that horrible person out of my life. I do miss certain... aspects of that relationship, but in the long run I'm much better without her.

I'm also quitting smoking, down to 1 cigarette a day, which is mostly out of habit more than addiction... or is it?

Anyway, I think Lotte world is the best idea.

I am really not expecting anything sexual from her, because again I respect her and her boyfriend, and I don't want to ruin a great relationship (between her and I).

Thing is, I told her I have this big huge surprise plan, that I'm keeping secret. In reality, I have no idea whatsoever. Smile Thanks for the suggestions, and keep them coming. The more the merrier.
