I'm going to get a job through my friend's aunt so this should be more flexible but I just received an email from someone in Korea saying most employers will not request for an E2 Visa if you plan to stay in Korea for less than one year? Because of how long the Visa will take, I can do 10 months. Does anyone know if this is true? Thanks in advance. |

An E2 visa is often limited to one year working, but, that doesn't mean you have to work the entire year .... |

That's right. You do 9 month, then you just forego the severance pay, recommendation letter, and live through the hell that will be after you give the 30 day notice. However, you do have strong shoulders and a square jaw one can bounce a brick off, don't you? |

Thank you. That's what I thought too. This recruiter or whoever she is is just causing concern where it need not be. Thanks for the info. |

lol uhhhh we'll see. We gotta do what we can do and some things... I guess I cannot control. Like how long the Visa process takes but my ultimate goal is to just travel, experience the culture, teach and so forth so if I have enough to not come out in the negative, I'll accept that. |

You can always get fired. Just teach a standard ESL lesson with no games. |
