Ok so today is my last day. Contract was terminated as I was fired. I was given one month's notice.

They said I''d be paid by the end of today but I haven't.

I've been calling but they are evading me.

I guess seeing as I have to go to immi on monday to canel my alien card, they reckong as I'm broke I'll have to just leave and not be able to fight a labour claim etc.

What do I do? I want to file a complaint and claim my salary at the Labour office. I also want to somehow get immigration to give me an extension so I can stay here whilst I wait for the claim to play out etc.

I'll be able to borrow enough to live on from friends until sept 16th and then I get 2 mil for my housing deposit back from my landlady.

That will enable me to live here for around two months.

What should I do first?

Anyone been through this before who can talk / run me through it?

Thanks

You can go to the Labor Board and complete two forms. The first form is to file your complaint against your former employer. The second form is to designate someone in Korea to appear on your behalf at any Labor Board proceedings. You can also file the second form at any Korean diplomatic mission abroad.

Don't call your old boss. Go to the place of business and camp out there until they fork over the money.
