All of the emoticons CAN serve a purpose when posting. But if someone's being a tool or a know it all and then they add one, it can make them all the more annoying.

The mods may correct me, but I don't think anyone's been banned from Dave's over how they've used an emoticon! |
Most of the hosility comes from the stress of many neer do well posters trying to convince the rest of the pinnensula's inhabitants that they are indeed not an economic refugee who basically had few options back home. I always get a kick out of when some esl monkey accuses me of being a loser who can't get a job or score chicks back home. |
getting a job and scoring chicks can be mutually exclusive. It is in my case!!!!!!!!  |
