Well, going by his overall context, I suspect he means to suggest that the porn industry, being extremely wealthy, could afford to toss a few bucks in the direction of safe-sex campaigns and whatnot.

Might it actually be that ridiculous for the porn industry itself to adopt a spot of corporate responsibility? These are, after all, major businesses replete with HR departments and plush offices nestling next to mainstream film companies. Bankroll sex safe campaigns, harness the allure of their top stars, maybe even make bespoke films for the developing world which educate as well as titillate. Doing nothing, and leaving western porn to march untrammelled into Africa and other places, is a deeply unattractive prospect.

This would be a harmless point. However, Mr Leftist's point appears to be that, in the absence of the tossing of a few bucks in the direction of safe-sex campaigns and whatnot, porn is itself responsible for any negative consequences.
This is classic leftist thinking.
* the US and Israel are responsible for 9/11 and other Muslim violence (Chomsky)
* Yale University fears responsibility for violence that might ensue as a result of printing the Danish cartoons in a book (and, as such, refuses to print them)
Only whites, Jews and Americans - and perhaps also rich Muslims and minorities - are capable of personal, total responsibility for their own actions, and share responsibility for the actions of Africans, Muslims and other noble savages. |

| The porn industry already helps Africa. Porn promotes anal and oral sex. These are forms of birth control. This in turn alleviates Africa's overpopulation issues. Bravo to pornographers. Just another way America helps the world. |
