| Hehe, good use of music! I'll have to remember that one. The teacher looks more excited than the kids though. |

| That was so cool, but why are the kids so depressed about it? Only the guy with the 'after' looked like he was somewhat enjoying himself. |

| That was cool. Kids never like anything here, especially at that age. Regardless, great job teacher. |

| Great vid. One of the reasons I don't like teaching middle-school is the utter lack of enthusiasm about anything. Most boring classes to teach. |

fantastic! there should be more teachers like this guy.
though maybe the kids aren't so enthusiastic because 'our work is never over' reminds them of the other 5 hakwons they have to go to that day! |

interesting video - but how is that a good lesson?
he spent a week of English camp teaching kids how to hold up signs on cue? |

Kudos to the guy for trying something unique.
But I also couldn't help ask myself how many classroom hours did he take doing that? I know it had to be a lot because I didn't see any mistakes and getting brain dead middle schoolers to do something almost flawless like that took many hours or he has the most talented class in Korea.
Still give him credit for getting the cretins do do anything at all. |

| That was laugh out loud funny. The girl with the N had such a bored and droll and shy look about her, but she was spot on. Kick butt job. They weren't speaking, but I'll give the guy credit for getting the students to listen carefully. Reminded me of my students at a Japanese women's university. |

MAD PROPS! Awesomer than the Daft Punk HBFS hands video; almost as good as the robot one.
My wife figures the lack of emotion is their concept. I sure hope it is, or those kids are soulless automatons. |

| If you haven't taught at a camp before then you may not know that many expect some sort of performance on the last day. There is usually one class hour set aside for this every day. It is nearly impossible to get the middle school kids to do anything, so this was great. |

Fair dues that was inspired!
Well Ive been teaching English for some time now and often I use songs or videos that I love but then they dont go down that well, but I dont care! Sod it, as long as Im having a good time. My current syllabus contains the Backstreet Boys but theres no way Im doing that, I used it once before and I turned it off in the middle saying it was 'rubbish' and I couldnt stand it anymore.
I reckon the students lack of enthusiasm is either they dont think its that good of an idea or that guy made em practise SO much that theyre sick to death of it. Which makes me think he was just using them to make a cool youtube video! hahaha. Look how much thought he obviously put into it, and compare it wwith how much they probably learnt! What a genius!Hilarious. |
