the magical negro (bagger vance)
the noble savage
the woman who is haunted by the (not-necessarily-malicious but still scaring-the-hell-out-of-the-lead-character ) ghost throughout the first 90 minutes of the movie, until out of desperation and fear, she screams "WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?!?!?!?!", often resulting in revelation of what the ghost wants from her (usually, to tell the TRUTH of what happened to the ghost) (the ring) |

im assuming you mean the BIG HEARTFELT SPEECH AT THE END OF THE MOVIE ABOUT WHAT IS IMPORTANT IN LIFE, which warms the cold heart of the powerful person(s) who hold the fate of the protagonist in their hands (or is a pivotal argument for the defense of the unjustly accused protagonist, thereby saving the case for the inexperienced lawyer in over his head against a mountain of evidence against his client and a world-class opposing counsel)
yea, i hate those, too |

I can't believe that the biggest cliche of them all hasn't been said: The hero getting shot, but it's only in the shoulder.
Or the hero having incredible aim and shooting down the enemy with ease, while the enemy send a shower of bullets at him--and miss every time. |

Having the exact change is a common one, mainly in taxis.
And all teenagers have their bedroom walls entirely covered in posters, not a spot of wall showing. |

Here's a continuation to the first link I posted. These time it's about clichs they enjoy.

So true.
Here's the standard example for that (starts about 35 sec. in). Still can't believe the editors let it go.

I also like the fight scenes where one guy is on his back and his opponent has a knife bearing down on him.
He miraculously finds the strength to fend the guy off, either by throwing him off, or better yet, by turning the knife back on his opponent and stabbing him with it. |

I can't believe anyone didn't mention that one about the hero getting pinned down and getting that last surge of strength. That one is SO overplayed. |

Commando is the greatest movie ever for post-mortem one-liners.
