One of my favorite American foods is buffalo wings with ranch. I've been craving for some recently and bought a pack of Bennigans "buffalo wings" at E-Mart. Terrible. Overpriced and tastes like gochujang mixed with BBQ sauce. Of course I haven't seen ranch dressing here at all, but I could look for it at a foreign food market.

Anyone know how to get some real buffalo wings here?

Yep. Rocky Mountain Tavern in Itaewon and Beer O' Clock in Sinchon have some of the best ones.

I think it's either Tuesday night or Thursday night at 3 Alley Pub that they have 250 won hot wings.

Ranch dressing is a cheap substitute for blue cheese dressing. Blue cheese is the original way to eat buffalo wings!

Outside of the base, it's almost impossible to find. Blue cheese is available here, but you can't get the buttermilk to make the dressing.

I've sampled almost all there is in Korea, and the 3 biggest problems I've found with buffalo wings here are:

1) The wings are small and pathetic.

2) The sauce is just gross 99 times out of 100. Not the dipping sauce/dressing. I mean the sauce they cook the wings in.

3) They all use chicken.

Tuesdays is Wing Night, price is correct. Very delicious, the most we ever ate there was 80 pieces for 3 of us. Stay away from "Insane", it will ruin your sense of taste for hours and make the beer taste like vomit (or like more vomit). "Mild" will do, if not try "hot".

Thanks for the suggestions. I will try some of those places.

I like blue cheese. I actually saw it being served in a family restaurant. Wish I can buy it at a store.

Again. You CAN buy blue cheese in Korea, but it is impossible to find buttermilk to make the dressing.

That's because American chickens are on steroids.
