We will probably see the withdrawal of western forces from Aghanistan in the next few years if not months. Due to a lack of political will from the NATO allies and their supporters. I find this depressing and disconcerting when it boils down to the men lost and materials sent to support this war.
However, the reality of the situation warrants a new look. What????

This funny-looking woman with bad teeth; I forget her name. Every few years she comes here on a tour and the CBC takes her to a few places where enough people recognize her to fill a room for the television cameras. I think last time it was some town in Nunavit.
