Last week I posted about the online school I told you to avoid...well here's an update so you can understand how bad this school is..
I finally got a response from one of the managers after saying that I was going to file a complaint w/ the Korean labor board.
He basically said that they (talkbean.com) were not going to pay me because the payment was less than 100. He also seemed to suggest that they would not be giving me anymore class so I can earn the amount need to do a wire transfer.
What do you think? Should I file a complaint?
If anyone wants to PM me that would be fine. I'll give u my e-mail.
Let me know. Thanks,
Sea. |

I hate to say it, but I suspect any Korean based, on-line program to be less than honest. I would never work for one. I have a friend who has had good luck with company from France and she always gets her money.
But from what I've seen of Korean business practices, especially in regards to the treatment of foreign English teachers, I would never even consider doing on-line teaching.
Perhaps there is someone out there who can prove me wrong, if so
tell us your story. But I highly doubt it. |
