I heard highschool teaching is very relaxed, less discipline problems.

Here's the thing though I'm 26 and I have a boyish/girl look.

Should I advise myself against teaching high school for fear of the crushes and unnecessary amount of love letters that will obstruct my drawers?

I don't really want to have to fend off girls with a stick and personally i really dislike highschool girls.

Does anyone teach high school around the age of 26 and lived to tell the tale? I certainly would prefer to hear a story about someone who managed to distance himself greatly from the students and just teach.

Actually not,

Just looking for reassurance that someone teaching high school around 26 years old and hasn't had any problems.

Mostly with discipline. I'm kind of trolling actually.

It's my mood.

my kids are calling me kung fu Panda Eh... I don't mind. My class room rules are pretty easy. No outright disrespect towards me or other students and no cursing.

If the kids break the rules. I let my co-teachers handle it. And they're pretty extreme. It's more than enough to keep them in line but, low enough for the kids to have fun.

Since your a foreigner. And English is so important here. Most of the girls in the school will get crushes on you. But, it'll mostly be just ~~~HI !!!! Otherwise no problem.

Koreans in general are not attracted to Foreigners unless you look like a Hollywood movie star.. They are only attracted to handsome Korean dudes.

Yes you hunk of a man - I'm sure every female in your vicinity gets all hot and sweatly in your presence.

Put your money where your mouth is like Misher and stick a mugshot of yourself up - or are you all mouth like that other troll 'morning star'

I'm 22 and have been teaching in Korea since I was 20 (I am here legally, so don't ask)... If anyone were to be having this problem it would be me. I'm a pretty handsome guy.

All I can say is: yes, it does happen.

The girls all write me love letters. If they don't, then they're probably lesbians.

Since I don't date High School girls, I give them an English puzzle at the end of the year. It's a cryptogram. The answer is: "my phone number is ***********, call me on your 19th birthday. Giggity."

I taught at a girls' high school when I was 25, and while I did have some of the girls call after me "Oh! Handsome guy!" and that kind of giddy b.s., nothing serious. I found it helped to dress up- a jacket and a tie if you have one. Looking older creates an appropriate student-teacher professional distance is my theory.
