|
|
Hello,
I am an American going to South Korea without a job, then looking to find a job in Seoul, then going to Japan on a "visa run" after getting a job.
I've seen some threads that have mentioned something about having an interview at a home country's consulate in order to get an E-2 Visa. Is this true in my case?
Is there a definitive answer? I've seen multiple answers. |

| You can obtain a first, E-2 visa from a third country if you have your level of education verified by the Korean Council for University Education (KCUE), and may skip the interview portion as the situation warrants. |
