Does anyone have any information (good or bad) about Footprints recruiting in South Korea? I am thinking seriously about applying for a job thru them. Please help!
FYI: I was in Korea for a total of 4 years--3 years US Army and 1 year teaching English. I have been back from Korea since August 2009 but my plans in the states fell through so I need a job like yesterday. I dont want to appear too desperate before I call them but on that same note I need a job like yesterday. lol. Any information will help!!!!

One more thing: I allready have an original copy of my diploma, 2 transcripts, and crc with apostille stamp, and a passport. I can also arrange for my own transportation there(Space A flights). Do you think this will increase my chances with Footprints? |

Good luck - as far as I can tell, they don't have anything for months. Terrible company IMO. |

Terse responses, infrequent responses, and poorly explained emails about the nature of the market at the moment making it seem like there is nothing at all until next year (and then, subsequently, sending out emails asking if anyone would like a place at a university in Saudi). Seems like a shambles in comparison to some companies i've been dealing with. |

dont stick to just one recruiter ... and if you search the job board on this site, there are schools you can contact directly as well (the better method, my opinion)
and dont let the schools' 'standards' scare you off (if you've been reading the job posting, you might know what I'm talking about)
a great thing about contacting the school directly is you can ask them (and perhaps their current teachers) questions
do know what you're getting yourself into, read what they expected of you |
