One thing I've learned as a part of the current course I'm taking through my MA program -- the importance of consistency in the syllabus and other provided course materials.
The professor in my current course keeps making mistakes that, quite frankly, are angering me and making me really dislike the course.
For one, the first quiz (timed) we had included a question from a chapter we hadn't read yet (there were only about 5 questions, so it's a biggie). When I pointed this out, I was ignored, then later told, "Oh, you're correct... I'll get back to you." No news yet, and it's been a week.
Second, according to our syllabus, we were supposed to read chapter 4, and will have a quiz. According to another document provided elsewhere, we are supposed to have read both chapters 4 and 5 for our quiz. At the moment, I'm taking a break from cramming chapter 5.
Sorry, had to vent. |
